Serendipity Blend is a blend of 100% Arabica beans from all corners of the globe. The base is a mixture of beans from Colombia’s Medellin and Guatemala’s Huehuetenango regions. Both countries are famous for their high-quality, well balanced beans. Complementing this I have added beans from Ethiopia, the birthplace of coffee, and Indonesia.
In every cup, there is a history lesson to be learnt on the origins of coffee as we know and love it today: from its humble beginnings in Ethiopia, to Indonesia, where it flourished before being exported to South and Central America, to become one of the world’s most widely traded commodities.
Alchemy Coffee’s Serendipity Blend is a rich and complex full-bodied coffee with low acidity. It has a smooth, sweet flavour with more than a hint of dark cocoa and caramel; and a bright fruitiness with a touch of spice.
Each bean variety is roasted separately to enhance their unique properties and flavour characteristics, and then blended together in small batches to create Serendipity Blend. It makes a divine long black, but blends and softens beautifully with milk as a flat white.
All bagged coffee comes in a unique foil-lined bag that is designed to keep light, air, and contaminants out, and freshness in! The bag has a one way valve, so the beans can de-gas after roasting, and a handy resealable ziplock, so your coffee can stay as fresh as the day it was roasted.
Coffee is best stored in a cool dark place, away from heat and sunlight. The pantry is fine (not the fridge, freezer, or on a sunny benchtop).
Alchemy Coffee is the most delicious coffee I have ever tasted. The beans are roasted to perfection with a full bodied, delicious flavour. We grind our beans to make Espresso stove top coffee and it is a quality, mouthwatering brew every time! You won’t be disappointed!
I’ve been buying Serendipity blend from Alchemy Coffee for a few years now. It’s the best coffee I’ve ever tasted (and I’ve tasted a lot).
Real coffee! The dark roast is the best! Doesn't happen often enough! 🙂 A barista who knows the difference between steamed and frothed milk, and knows which one goes in Flat Whites! Can provide a coffee grind to suit your machine or pot or plunger! Have tried others but keep coming back to Alchemy as my coffee of choice
